Free circus tickets when you donate food!

There's nothing like doing something good and getting something free at the Mom_clowns1 same time. So, expect a lot of company when you donate food to help stock the Metropolitan Ministries pantry next Friday. When you make your donation of non-perishable food, you will get a free ticket to the 139th edition of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus that runs Jan. 7-11 at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa.

Donations can be dropped off Friday, Nov. 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. ONLY, in front of the McDonald’s Box Office at the Forum, 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa.

A minimum donation of 10 items is required to receive a ticket and there is a limit of four tickets per family. Tickets are for the best seats available at any of the eight Tampa performances.

Metropolitan Ministries, a non-profit, nondenominational organization in Tampa that provides food and services for poor and homeless families, is most in need of boxed cereal, stuffing and canned fruit. But they take all kinds of donations from canned meat and cranberry sauce to gravy and vegetables to serve more than 150 families a day.

If you'd like to donate food but don't want the free tickets, you can still buy them beginning Nov. 21 at any Ticketmaster outlet, the Forum box office or by phone at (813) 287-8844 in Hillsborough or (727) 898-2100 in Pinellas.
