Kids as young as 5 can get behind the wheel at the mini NASCAR events over in eastern Hillsborough County. Check out Brandon reporter Jan Wesner's story on the Tampa Bay Quarter Midget Racing Association for kids ages 5 to 16. They had a test drive day last Sunday and hold races twice a month. You can also sign your kids up for  private driving lessons that cost $50 an hour at Ambassador Racing School at the Wimauma track. They get to drive a racing kart that can go as fast 45 mph.
