Grants to preserve the school programs most in budget cut danger
Here’s a lesson in math even before many of us have returned to the classroom: free+ money for school programs = a good thing.
The Clorox company is offering grants to deserving schools to help preserve vital programs like art, music, and sports in the face of tough budget cuts this year. “Power a Bright Future” will offer one $50,000 and three $20,000 grants “to help provide critically needed resources to diminishing school programs.”
Simply go to their website to nominate a deserving school by Sept. 27.
