Halloween help is here
I simply must give a shout out to Parent Hacks, one of my favorite Web sites. It's always got some tips that are worthy of a smack on the forehead and a "Why didn't I think of that?" But this week we get the added bonus of host Asha Dornfest's organizational abilities. This week she has compiled a "best of" list of all the Halloween hacks over the years from clever parents that range from easy no-sew costumes, to using glow sticks instead of candles in a Jack O'Lantern to storing the Halloween books with the decorations. And with Halloween being just 16 days away, we can all use the help.
There's loads of treats there, so dig in.
And while we're at it, we want to give you a couple tips of our own: With candy prices on the rise (like everything else these days), it might be better to buy a bag or two here or there rather than trying to stock up all at once. And make sure you enjoy the season with your kids. There are plenty of fall events going on in the bay area right now. It's a great time to just hang out and enjoy what amounts to fall in Florida.
