Here's some Halloween ideas and fun
Am I the only one who has more fun decorating the house for Halloween than I do for Christmas? As my friend Sherry noted, it's a lot less pressure. Halloween is for cheeky fun. Christmas has to be beautiful and tasteful -- not like my cobwebbed entranceway with the rotted arm reaching from underneath a tombstone near my blood-dripped fountain.
So now that the decorations are in place and costumes are being pondered, I really liked this round up of Halloween fun from the Times Gadget Guy, Jack Rowland. From zombie brain gelatin molds to pumpkin carving kits to light-up body parts, he's letting his freak flag fly. And for costume inspiration, check out this slide show of the weirdest and cutest costumes for babies. Baby sushi? Odd. Baby lobster? Inspired!
For you do it yourselfers, starting this past weekend, Michael’s Craft Stores are offering free Halloween decoration workshops, where they’ll show you how to make amazing decorations that cost less than $7.
