Kindergarten sign-ups already?
Yep, that's right Pinellas County is already making mothers of 5 year olds weep (or do the happy dance, as the case may be) as they fill out applications for school next year. Registration is going on right now, a tad earlier than last year but Pinellas County school officials are urging parents to go ahead and register any youngsters expected to turn 5 on or before Sept. 1.
To find your zoned school, go to school district's Web site and click on “Zone School Locator” under “PCS News.” Or call (727) 588-6210 for help.
The magnet and fundamental school sign-up is separate and you should have already signed up, though they are taking late applications here.
Now it's time to plan the Boo Hoo Breakfast in August for the Mommas.
