Looking for a good fetal doppler, I've found several with bad reviews, a couple of pricy ones over $100, a fetal stethoscope that seems to require a large learning curve to use, and something that you actually strap on your stomach to "teach" the baby by using sounds.

All I want to do is be able to hear the baby's heart in the weeks that can pass between doctor's appointments in the second and third trimesters. Something that won't break the bank. If a good, budget friendly one can be found, I'll post an update.
