Mom convicted of hacking son's Facebook account
In all the preparation for a three day weekend, we're not sure if you saw this story. Lane New, 17, sued his
mom earlier this year for hacking into his Facebook account and posting her own comments. Late last week, a judge convicted her of misdemeanor harassment and ordered her to stay away from her son. Denise New must pay a $435 fine for her actions, which included posting a comment on her son's Facebook page that said, "The only mistake I ever made was having a kid."
Wow, we thought Facebook was all about bringing people together. Maybe Denise New should have quit before posting comments on her son's account.
