A new twist on play dates for new moms
A new twist on play groups and play dates is coming to Tampa Sept. 21. Small Fry Society is a six-week activity program for Tampa Bay area mothers and babies under 3 years old. Over a six-week “term” mothers and babies will come together at various locations for weekly one and a half hour themed “socials” to include breakfast or lunch. The term also includes one Girls Night Out, a moms-only event featuring entertainment, light bites, cocktails and giveaways.
The themes range from fashion to fitness to freebies, so it's not your average mommy and me program. Socials for expectant moms will begin in October and there will also be socials geared at Small Fry Society's working moms too. The Girls' Night Out on Oct 25 includes a charitable component--donating items to Alpha House.
"This is a great example of how we can help connect mothers and mothers-to-be with one another, while also connecting local businesses to the family demographic and to other businesses, said founder Amy Lundy.
You can register here for a six-week term for $199.
