Obama girls, Ears the Peruvian hairless is a real dog
So, I wonder if a group of dog lovers in Peru actually like President-elect Barack Obama. Obviously, they don't because why else would they offer this toothless, hairless creature to be the first pet? Is it really a dog?
Sure, Obama promised his daughters Malia and Sasha that they would get a puppy when they moved into the White House. And since his win Nov. 4, the future First Family has gotten lots of advice on what kind of dog they should get.
Claudia Galvez, director of the Friends of the Peruvian Hairless Dog Association, delivered a letter detailing her offer to the U.S. embassy in Lima on Monday and hopes the Obama family will accept it, said a story on the U.K.'s Telegraph Web site. If they do take it, she has a 4-month-old pedigree puppy currently known as Ears ready to send to the family.
Okay, we don't want to get into a fight with Peru but I think the Obamas should just say thanks but no thanks to this cross between a kangaroo and a rabbit.
