Whoa, Momma!

'Olivia' the pig is animated fun -- but tell her to shut up!

Times Pop Music Critic Sean Daly isn't just the guy who hangs out with rock stars and tween idols, goes to concerts and blogs all night about American Idol. He's also a proud dad of two cute girlies and he isn't afraid to sit and watch a little morning TV with them. That's why it was perfect for him to watch Olivia, the new cartoon starring the busy little pig that debuts Monday on Nickelodeon.

Mom_olivia_2Now, while his 5-year-old daughter love, love, loved it, Sean just liked it. The stories are true to the books (all Olivia fans know about her "issue" with the cat) and, as he says in his review of the new show, "Olivia is a star in her own head and ours, and although she’s a nudge, you can’t help rooting for her mischief."

But there is one thing he would change if he could: The voices are not what he expected. See if you agree. The show debuts at 11:30 a.m. Monday on Nickelodeon.
