Some area Gymborees back in business
Four of the five bay area Gymborees that closed up shop about two weeks ago are now back in business and are currently being operated by corporate officials from the San Francisco-based play place, according to a Times report.
Parents had complained to corporate officials, saying that they had lost hundreds of dollars in prepaid memberships. "We've been moved by the response of the customers," said Gymboree Play & Music Vice President Jill Johnston.
The only location that remains closed is in Bradenton. Gymborees in North and South Tampa, Lutz and Countryside are now open.
