Sunflower maze open for wandering
Get yourself lost in a maze of 8-foot tall sunflowers and pick up some organic produce at a family farm near Brooksville.
Last year’s sunflower maze at Sweetfields Farm in Masaryktown was such a hit they are doing it again. It will be open on weekends through the end of May from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The price is $8.50 for adults, $4.40 for children 3 to 11, free for kids under 3. Maze passports are $12.75 for adults and $8.75 for children 3 to 11 and will allow the holder to visit any time while the maze is open. Cash only. There are no ATMs on the farm, and checks are not accepted.
For more information, go to their website or call (352) 279-0977. The farm, which also sells organic produce and plants and has a you-pick vegetable garden, is at 17250 Benes Roush Road, east of U.S. 41 and south of Ayers Road in Masaryktown.
