Work the kinks out of the costume at Largo Mall trick or treat event Saturday
Are the pants too long? Will the wig fall in her eyes? Is that mask too tight for him? There's a way to find out the the pitfalls of your child's Halloween contest. Take them over to Largo Mall on Saturday and let them trick or treat. They can walk in the costume, get a bit of candy and you can determine if some fixes are needed before the big day Oct. 31. There's trick or treating, a costume contest (registration at 12:30 in front of Regal 8 Cinema), a DJ, dancing and face painting. The event is from noon to 2 p.m. at Largo Mall, at Ulmerton Road and Seminole Boulevard.
There are plenty of other Halloween events this weekend to help you decide if the costume makes the grade.
