Young Concert Artist Series coming to the Palladium
Want to inspire your little band geek to practice more? In November, the Palladium in St. Petersburg is introducing the Young Concert Artist Series beginning Nov. 16 with Caroline Goulding, who has performed as soloist with some of the nation’s foremost symphonies.
The Young Concert Artist Series continues in the 2012 with performance artist and Itzhak Perlman protege Hahn-Bin Jan. 18, and classical pianist Charlie Albright on April 18.
First up, Caroline Goulding in concert Nov. 16. The internationally acclaimed young violinist was in her teens when Gramophone magazine called her “A precociously gifted virtuoso.” She has performed as soloist with the world’s leading orchestras. At 16, she contributed to a Grammy nominated CD. See the show at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance, $25 day of show.
