Slurb
Marina Zurkow’s installation, Slurb, has many haunting layers to it. The images presented in the poster are stagnant and one dimensional while the images in the actual art work are more dynamic. What are your thoughts about this art work? What are the effects of Zurkow’s use of light regarding depth, tone and mood? The sense of movement experienced by Slurb is different than the sense of movement in Ecstatic City. Share your thoughts about Zurkow's creation.
Have you visited Slurb at the St. Pete Times Forum? Share your thoughts about the installation. How does the music enhance the visual presentation?
