Women taking the lead
March is the month designated for special honoring of women's contributions. This year's National Women's History Project's theme is "Women Taking the Lead to Save Our Planet." Check out http://www.nwhp.org/whm/honorees.php and then look in the St. Petersburg Times for stories about women who could be included in the list of honorees. Make your own nominations at here at the NIE Blogging Zone. Example: Put "Andrea Hildebran" in the search box at tampabay.com or the e-Edition to read about her community garden outreach.
