Cyberbullying on the rise

Although the Largo Middle School students are laughing in this photo, cyberbullying is a serious issue. Read Donna Winchester's article about cyberbullying in the March 3 edition of the St. Petersburg Times. Cyberbullying is on the rise in school districts across the country. According to school officials, anyone with access to a cell phone or a computer could be a victim. That's why Pinellas and Hillsborough school officials have gone to extra lengths this year to crack down on cyberbullying, sometimes referred to as online social cruelty or electronic bullying.
