Economic woes
According to the article posted on Tampabay.com today by Jeff Harrington, "Florida's unemployment hits 11.8%; Tampa Bay's 12.4%," Florida unemployment rates have continued to increase hitting 11.8 percent in December. In the Tampa Bay area, the jobless rate reached 12.4 percent. Hernando's unemployment rate for December rose to 14.9 percent. You can read Harrington's story on Tampabay.com.
