Our Tampa Bay Rays

In the know. In the Times.

The debate over the Rays and Tropicana Field has reared its ugly head again.  Stu Sternberg, the owner of the Tampa Bay Rays, held a press conference yesterday officially stating his request for a new stadium somewhere in the Tampa Bay region.  The Mayor of St Petersburg, Bill Foster, says no way to the team leaving the city.  Today’s Times is full of commentaries, articles, and opinions on the matter, check out the front page for the latest buzz.  Also, visit tampabay.com/videos to see Sternberg’s official announcement.  What is your opinion?  Should the Rays stay in St Petersburg, or should they move to a new location?  Let us know what you think here on our blog.
