Thumbs up and down

Fish tacos are a popular menu item at Tijuana Flats, but Hillsborough County students aren’t convinced it should be on their school lunch menu.  Almost 200 students taste-tested new healthful choices for next year’s menu at Strawberry Crest High School this week, and the fish tacos got a big thumbs down.  Pizza with a wheat crust passed the test, as did teriyaki beef dippers and spring rolls.  Read the article on page 3B of today’s Times, or see the footage at video.tampabay.com, then come tell us what you would like to see on your school lunch menu for next year.  If you think the fish tacos sound gross too, can you offer up a better alternative?
