Keeping track

Many health experts agree that keeping a food diary is a great way to keep track of what you are actually eating. For one week, keep a food diary. Track everything you eat and how much. Discuss your food choices with family and friends. Brainstorm how you can make healthier food choices. If time is a factor, prepare your lunch or other meals ahead of time. You can use the choices from the food menu in the Fit4Allkids NIE publication or try some of the recipes. Make sure you’re eating nutritious meals
most days of the week.

Search the electronic edition of the St. Petersburg Times for images of your favorite foods. Are they nutritious? Why or why not? Share what you have learned her on the NIE Blogging Zone.
