Even if you have never read any of the Harry Potter books, surely you are familiar with chocolate frogs and Bertie Bott’s every flavor jelly beans. Recipes for other Hogwarts favorites like Butterbeer and Pumpkin Pasties have also surfaced thanks to some innovative kitchen wizards such as Dinah Bucholz. Check out today’s Taste section in the Times and try your hand at her recipes. Maybe you could make Pumpkin Pasties for Thanksgiving this year instead of the same old boring store bought pumpkin pie!
