Pop Life gets new home in Sunday SPT!
Hey kids, for those rebels who still read the actual ink-stained newspaper, I have cool news. My Sunday column, Listen to This, is leaving the Latitudes section. In fact, it's leaving this world altogether. However, we're taking goodies from Pop Life (album reviews, trends, playlists, wienermobiles) and spicing them up in Floridian, the award-winning features section in Sunday's St. Petersburg Times. It's gonna be a hoot. In related news, the arts column Critics Circle -- featuring Colette Bancroft, John Fleming and Lennie Bennett -- will become a regular feature in Latitudes. And making room for my fat head, Eric Deggans' The Feed column will move from Floridian to the pop-culture banquet of 2B. The fun starts this Sunday, July 19. Hope you dig the changes.

About the blogger
Pop music critic Sean Daly of the Tampa Bay Times brings you the latest music news and concert reviews. He writes about rock music, country music, rap music and whatever sounds are out there. Cool job, isn't it? And his CD collection -- from Journey to Dylan, Prince to U2, Public Enemy to Stan Getz -- is much bigger and better than yours.
