Idol's Josiah Leming gives hope to people with phony British accents

josiah.

Remember that homeless kid (well, he lived in his car at least, presumably to look artistically wounded) from Season Seven of American Idol? He spoke with a so-sensitive fake British accent (too much Coldplay, methinks) and wowed the judges -- before totally turning them off and dissolving into a puddle of tears and you'll-be-sorrys. Well, on Sept. 14, 21-year-old Josiah Leming will release his debut album, Come On Kid, on Warner Bros. How he managed to eat these last few years, not to mention seduce a major record label, is beyond me. But if you're curious about this wackadoo and wanna hear first single Maybe, HERE YOU GO.
