Pettitte scratched from start in St. Pete

The list of Yankee regulars not making the trip to Al Lang today is getting longer.

LHP Andy Pettitte, scheduled to start today's matchup with the Rays, has been replaced by LHP Heath Phillips.

Pettitte was scratched due to minor irritation in his left forearm muscle, manager Joe Girardi told reporters in Tampa.

Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter and Johnny Damon were already not making the trip for the Yankees only matchup in St. Petersburg this spring.

Some of the regulars who are scheduled to make the trip are C Jorge Posada, Robinson Cano, Jason Giambi, Bobby Abreu and Hideki Matsui.
