Yankees revenge?
According to the travel squad posted in the Yankees clubhouse this morning, they are are not bringing their two biggest stars for Wednesday's game in St. Petersburg, with both SS Derek Jeter and 3B Alex Rodriguez scheduled to stay back in Tampa.
INF Shelley Duncan, who made some veiled threats about turning up the intensity on Wednesday, is scheduled to come. Rays INF Elliot Johnson, who started the stir by crashing into Yankees catcher Francisco Cervelli on Saturday, is not expected to be in the Rays lineup.
The game - the Yankees only spring appearance in St. Petersburg - is sold out, though tickets are available through some online sites such as craigslist.org.
