Rays turn into action heroes
The Rays made the cover of the upcoming issue of Sports Illustrated -- sort of. A comic cover -- the first in SI's history -- shows a Rays player, who is supposed to be Carl Crawford, holding aloft a Yankees player, who is supposed to be Derek Jeter. The illustration, featuring Superman villain Bizarro, goes with SI's theme for the surprising start to the season: ''Bizarro Baseball.''
