And on the field ...

With so much focus on the suspensions stemming from Thursday's brawl, the Rays still have a big game to play tonight in hopes of ending their three-game losing streak, and they have the right guy on the mound in Scott Kazmir.

None of the suspensions start tonight, so the Rays are playing at full strength.
The Rangers, however, are not, as SS Michael Young injured his left ring finger during batting practice and was scratched from the lineup, with the result being catcher Gerald Laird makes his first-ever infield start at third base.

The lineups:
Iwamura, 2b
Crawford, lf
Upton, cf
Floyd, dh
Longoria, 3b
HInske, 1b
Navarro, c
Gross, rf
Bartlett, ss
Kazmir, p

Rangers
Kinsler, 2b

Hamilton, cf
Bradley, rf
Murphy, dh
