UPDATE: 3B Evan Longoria is not in the lineup as a result of being hit by a pitch in the ninth inning Thursday, and there is a possibility he could miss Saturday's game , too. X-rays after the game showed no break, and Rays manager Joe Maddon said team trainers still don't believe there is anything seriously wrong. Longoria said the area, on the back side of his arm just below the wrist was sore and there was considerable pain when he tried to swing during some pre-batting practice work. The best Longoria and Maddon could say about his return on Saturday was that they were "hopeful.''

"Hopefully (Saturday) I'l be good to go,'' Longoria said.

Maddon had already planned to DH Willy Aybar, so he moved him to third base and added Eric Hinske to the lineup. With Gabe Gross in right, that left Cliff Floyd out.

New reliever Chad Bradford, acquired Thursday from Baltimore in a waiver-claim trade, won't arrive in Seattle until Saturday. The Rays will have to make room on the roster, and RHP Al Reyes could be the one to go.

3B Evan Longoria said his right wrist is still sore and he isn't sure yet if he'll be able to play tonight.
Longoria was hit by a pitch Thursday; X-rays were negative. He said he asked manager Joe Maddon to hold off on the lineup until he could hit and throw to see how it felt.
