City hosts pennant celebration at Pier
ST. PETERSBURG -- The city will host a party to celebrate the Rays' American League pennant win Monday at the Pier.
The festivities start at 5:30 p.m. with a rally, games, free Ray-hawk haircuts and face painting. Live bands will play, and the city will show video clips of the season. The event is free and open to the public and will last until 9 p.m.
Coolers and pets are not permitted.
