Rays on big screen in Largo
Wanna watch the Tampa Bay Rays under the stars? The city of Largo might have just the deal for you. The city will show tonight's American League Championship Series Game 4 against the Boston Red Sox at 8:07 p.m. on an inflatable movie screen in Largo Central Park, just off the Portico outside the Largo Cultural Center. Admission is free, and concessions will be available. A similar setup is scheduled for the remaining night games in the series: Thursday and Sunday (if necessary). The remaining day game (if necessary) is at 4:37 p.m. Saturday and would be shown in the Tonne Playhouse at the Largo Cultural Center. Fans are encouraged to wear their Rays gear, bring the whole family and join the community for a night of cheering on their local baseball team. For more information, call 587-6740, ext. 5014.
