As you asked: comment registration
In response to your concerns about inappropriate comments and impersonators on this blog, tampabay.com is implementing comment registration. To leave a comment, you will need to first register for a TypeKey account.
This is a way to authenticate and protect your online identity. Once you've registered, your name appears as a hyperlink to your profile. It is free, and you can share as much or as little personal information as you like. That way, readers will be able to tell which posts are from you and which are not. Many of you have registered for this service already, recognizing its benefits to you.
Once you've registered, your account will work on all of tampabay.com's blogs, as well as other Typepad blogs. Here's some more information on TypeKey, should you have any questions.
