Wonder what teams to do pass the time and keep their spirits up during a long season?

Well, here's one example from Monday afternoon - though we'll spare some of the specifics:

The Tampa Bay Rays closed the clubhouse to the media, put bullpen coach Bobby Ramos, who is known as the Sugar Bear, on a chair in the middle of the room, and gathered to watch as video coordinator Chris Fernandez used Nair to take the hefty hair off Ramos' back.

"It was Nair the Bear Day. We just wanted to do something that may add to our potential of taking two out of three from the Yankees,'' manager Joe Maddon said. "After a tough loss like yesterday I wanted to make sure the guys were in the right shape mentally today going into this game. It was just one game. If we win this series it's obviously a good thing.

"Digalo Bobby wears a permanent sweater, so we decided to extricate part of his sweater and that was through the Nair process.  ... It went over very well.''

Maddon said they used a full can on Ramos' back, and joked they'd need four or five more to do a complete job.
