Heading into Wednesday, with Burrell in right?

Couple of leftover items from Tuesday night that computer issues prevented us from sharing:

* The Rays finished the game with a team-record 11 extra-base hits, but shortly afterward they had 12, as the official scorer changed Gabe Gross' eighth-inning single to a double by eliminating the error on OF Brad Hawpe.

* Manager Joe Maddon has said he wouldn't do this, but he may put Pat Burrell in rightfield tonight. That's what career numbers of 11-for-16 against Rockies starter Aaron Cook will do for you. We're guessing the plan would be to get Burrell three at-bats or so against Cook, and have B.J. Upton essentially playing right-center. Then again, doing so would mean playing with suddenly sizzling Gabe Kapler.

* The five home runs were one shy of the team record, done most recently on May 7 in New York.

* Kinda esoteric, but RHP Jeff Niemann became the first rookie starter to stop a winning streak of 11 or more games since 2001, when Milwaukee's Ben Sheets beat the Cubs, who had won 12 in a row.
