Decision delayed on when Scott Kazmir will rejoin Tampa Bay Rays rotation
The Rays will wait to see Scott Kazmir throw a bullpen session Wednesday before deciding whether he will rejoin the rotation later this week or make another minor-league rehab start.
Kazmir said he felt he was ready to go, and both executive VP Andrew Friedman and manager Joe Maddon said the reviews on Kazmir's Monday night rehab start were good, with excellent action on his slider and changeup, and a fastball that was consistently in the 90-93 mph range.
