The Rays have a tradition of sprinkling in special wardrobe themes for some of their road trips during the long season.  With the team heading west Monday to Colorado to begin a three-game series with the Rockies, the players showed off their "Urban Cowboy" look, complete with hats, chaps and boots.  Manager Joe Maddon likes these team-building-type activities, and the players had fun going to local stores such as Spencer's Western World and Russell's Western Wear to build their ensembles.  After the three days in the mile-high city of Denver, the Rays head to that more urban eastern seaboard spread called New York City to take on the Mets for three games.
