Tampa Bay Rays Scott Kazmir expects to make next start
LHP Scott Kazmir said his cramps were likely the result of dehydration and he felt fine after the game and fully expects to make his next start as scheduled Thursday in Chicago. "It is completely minor,'' he said.
Manager Joe Maddon was also optimistic that Kazmir would be fine. “His left arm cramped up he got really stiff kind of like a dehydration situation,’’ Maddon said. “He’s fine. He should be fine for his next start. I’m sure he’s going to do his workout in a couple days and he’s going to pitch in Chicago.’’
