Aki's back - Rays activate Iwamura to take Kazmir's spot on roster
The Rays activated 2B Akinori Iwamura off the DL for today's game against the Tigers.
Iwamura has been rehabbing his left knee at Triple-A Durham; he has been out since May 24 and had surgery in June 22.
He takes the roster spot created by Friday's trade of LHP Scott Kazmir. The Rays will call up a pitcher - likely Wade Davis - to take Kazmir's place in the rotation on Tuesday when rosters can be expanded.
