Crawford feeling better, more optimistic about Friday
UPDATE, 6:01: Maddon said the report from the training room was encouraging, but raised the possibility that it may be Saturday before Crawford returns.
DEVELOPING: Rays LF Carl Crawford said the tight back that has sidelined him is feeling better and he is more optimistic about returning to the lineup Friday in Detroit.
