UPDATE, 8:53: Biggest news pre-game besides Troy Percival's comments about retiring is the plan the Rays announced to get 2B Akinori Iwamura on a rehab assignment starting Friday in Durham that should have him ready to return to the major leagues right around Sept. 1.

DEVELOPING: The Rays will try for a better result tonight with the same lineup that scored seven runs against the Angels on Monday.

The Rays will be facing Ervin Santana, and will have LHP David Price on the mound.
