Alex Rodriguez homers twice during a 10-run sixth inning as New York prevents a Tampa Bay sweep on the final day of the regular season. Rodriguez hits a go-ahead three-run shot off rookie Wade Davis and a grand slam off Andy Sonnanstine for an AL-record seven RBIs in the inning. Evan Longoria hits his 33rd homer, and team MVP Ben Zobrist goes 2-for-4 to finish at .299 for the season.
