For starters: Gomez makes debut as Rays host Orioles

UPDATE, 10:35: Cash said Miller likely won't play again until next Tuesday at the earliest.

UPDATE, 9:22: On the matter of Sweet Caroline being played at Tuesday's Rays-Red Sox spring game in Port Charlotte, I was told it was a fill-in Stone Crabs person working in PA booth, that he has been talked to, and that song will be not be in playlist any further.

UPDATE, 8:20: 1B Brad Miller will be shut down for a couple days. He said the concern isn't the broken toe but impact on his gait, given previous hip issues and October core muscle surgery. He felt "something creeping in."

DEVELOPING: Carlos Gomez makes his official spring debut for the Rays today, starting in rightfield and hitting second against the Orioles at the Charlotte Sports Park.  Manager Kevin Cash is excited about the impact Gomez can have and said he could either anywhere from leadoff through the middle of the order.
