UPDATE, 11:40: Cash said first impressions of Arroyo this spring have been good, has been working with Mottola on hitting ball to RF, that he will get time at 2B-SS-3B but will "primarily" play 3B: "He looks like a baseball player."  … C Adam Moore, likely ticketed for Triple-A, will be sidelined for 5-6 days after a ball struck his thumb. … The Rays also have Xorge Carrillo and Johnny Monell in camp as candidates for jobs at Triple-A Durham.

DEVELOPING: RHP Nathan Eovaldi takes the next step in his comeback from his second Tommy John surgery today when he starts against the Phillies in Clearwater.

Eovaldi, seeking to become the 32nd pitcher and 12th starter to make it back to the majors, has made two previous appearances this spring.
