For starters: Rays at Twins, 1:05, with Faria on the mound

UPDATE, 10:42: The Rays made two more trims from their roster, optioning RHP Chih-Wei Hu and reassigning LHP Vidal Nuno to the minors. Both will be lengthened out to be used as starters. Hu was converted from starter to relief last year.

DEVELOPING: The Rays are heading south to Fort Myers to face the Twins for the sixth and final time this spring, having gone 1-4 thus far.

RHP Jake Faria, who has struggled this spring in terms of performance and tempo, will be on the mound, with the Rays hoping to see some improvement.

Even with the issues, Faria's spot in the four-man rotation appears safe, with the Rays announcing Thursday he will start their fifth game, which is the Yankees April 2 home opener.

Daniel Robertson was to DH based on the lineup posted Thursday, but Coats is listed today.
