ST. PETERSBURG — Latin pop star Marc Anthony visited Tropicana Field on Friday to see his beloved Yankees play the Rays.

Anthony spent nearly an hour on the field before the game as fans and players surrounded the multiple Grammy Award winner.

"(Miami) is my home, so it's great to be able to come out to come see my boys whenever they are in town ," he said. "Honestly, this makes me feel like I'm 7 years old again, my first Mets game was in New York."

Anthony owns Magnus Talent Agency, along with Michel Vega, and they represent Rays shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria, and Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman and catcher Gary Sanchez.

"I'm just here to support Latin talent," Anthony said.

The Rays gave the 49-year-old New York-born Anthony a shout-out on their video board during the game but spelled his first name Mark.
