Days after Blake Snell expressed disappointment in getting a very small raise following his Cy Young season, the Rays sign him to a a 5-year, $50-million deal.

Plus, the Lightning wins in Carolina to give it 58 wins, just four shy of the NHL's single-season record with seven games remaining. For head coach Jon Cooper, it's his 300th win in just 500 career games.
