Cobb sharp, Rays beat O's 4-1
The Rays played one of their most complete games of the spring in beating the Orioles 4-1/
RHP Alex Cobb bounced back from a shaky spring debut with three sharp innings, striking out five while throwing 36 pitches.
New SS Yunel Escobar hit a two-run opposite field homer and Ryan Roberts followed with a homer to left. An inning later Sean Rodriguez got his first hit of the spring, a homer to right.
The Rays are back in Port Charlotte on Sunday vs. Minnesota with David Price on the mound.
