Inglemoor High centerfielder Dustin Biell became the Rays first position player taken in Thursday's draft.
The Rays also picked four pitchers, including No 1 pick David Price (Vanderbilt)...
Biell is a left-handed hitting centerfielder who has some pop; he batted .364 with seven homers and a .773 his senior season.
Rays scouting director R.J. Harrison said the club will likely pick more position players Friday, when the first-player draft resumes.
