Back in business ...

The Rays were feeling better Friday, apparently over the virus that effected a half dozen players on Wednesday. With that manager Joe Maddon is trying a different look to his lineup, using Brendan Harris ahead of Ben Zobrist (who is still feeling a bit weak) at shortstop and giving Jonny Gomes his second start.

The one player who seems most ill today is reliever Brian Stokes, who is unlikely to be used.

Maddon said he will try to find a way to get Gomes more at-bats, mentioning the possibility of using him at least in a platoon against lefthander starters. And he said while Harris may get more regular playing time at shortstop, Zobrist remains the primary starter.

The full lineup: Baldelli, cf
Harris, ss
Crawford, lf
Wigginton, 1b
Young, rf
Iwamura, 3b
Navarro, c
Gomes, dh
Upton, 2b
